Studio Dansu is a dance and performing arts studio in Madison, WI. We are dedicated to educating and encouraging students to become knowledgeable thinking artists.
Our goal is to inspire a love of the arts in all our students & our comprehensive performing arts curriculum aims to train the next generation of performers.
Students develop technique, artistry, & creativity...learn the skills of self-discipline, teamwork, & confidence...and aspire to local performance opportunities, college performing arts programs, & professional careers.
We have a pre-professional, pre-collegiate, & recreational track available along with a performance company that will be showcased at local & regional performances (we do not register for competitions).

My daughter has benefited greatly from Jayme, the staff, and the programs. She absolutely loves going here and there are so many options that she’s never bored. Highly recommend if your child loves to dance or is artistic or musical in any way.

I can't speak to the quality of dance lessons, as we only attended summer camps, but my low rating is actually due to a more serious issue, which is lack of adult supervision. During one of the summer camps my 8-year-old attended, there was rarely an adult in the room, not even an older teen. A 10-year-old seemed to be "leading" the camp most of the time, when there was any leading at all--oftentimes the kids were left doing nothing at all. When I raised this serious issue to the studio management, our concerns were disregarded, and they denied everything (and they will do so in their response to this review). Yet I talked to another parent with a similar concern. Please think twice before sending your child to this place.

My daughter loves afterschool at Dansu! We learned about the program thru friends, went to summer camp this year, and then started after-school. Pickup from the school is super helpful for working families, and my daughter got to pick the classes she was interested in. Three days a week is great!

This is a good place for kids and adults to learn dance of varying styles. There are camps in the summer in person. They are very concerned about keeping people safe during COVID-19.
The teachers there are fun and knowledgable.

Our son has been taking various classes including HipHop, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acting, and Voice at Studio Dansu for the past few years. He has truly enjoyed all of his training and has grown as a performer. The teachers are all extremely talented, knowledgeable and encouraging and promote a healthy environment for growth and progress in their students. We highly recommend Studio Dansu!
