The Heart Revival or "Heart Center" is an enduring community gathering center that provides refuge for folks to revive and dive within via togetherness. Heart is a place to delight in mindfully slowing down, with an intention to open and see life in a fresh way. We are community, contributing to a culture that is connected and most compassionate.
Heart opened its doors in 2019 with a heart-centered mission to forge an ecology created via community, spiritual practice and the wisdom traditions of the Earth.

Heather is knowledgeable and caring. She helps me sort through the millions of things i could do, and get to what i can actually manage and implement. Ayurvedic medicine has worked for me where western medicine has completely failed. I go to Ayurveda before md’s. It’s way better, and more affordable.

The heart revival center is hands down the best yoga studio I have ever been to. They are so much more than your average workout focused, get in and get out yoga studio. The heart revival center is a community of people who offer spiritual support, guidance, encouragement, meditation practice, Buddhist teaching, breath centering practices in addition to a wide variety of yoga classes. They not only give back to communities here and abroad but also teach what it means to be a good citizen. I truly feel a sense belonging here.

You feel the calm and inclusion the moment you walk in. I did a noon class with Jody and she was wonderful. I felt relaxed yet worked up some good internal heat! I highly recommend!

I'm excited to join more of what's going on at The Heart Revival! I attended my first meditation class recently and the energy in the room felt so good. I haven't felt that in a while. It was like a bowl of chicken noodle soup paired with a hug paired with a field of lavender. :)

Meg's new yoga and meditation center is an oasis....a place to put aside the tasks of the day for just a bit, and have some time to take care of you; with warm conversation, a nice cup of tea, and a yoga/meditation practice that is traditional, accessible, authentic, and meaningful. I love spending time there in community with others, and especially with our fearless yoga and meditation teacher, Meg. She has created something truly unique and wonderful.

Meg's Heart Revival brings joy, awareness, support and kindness to each person who enters whether for yoga or meditation. For me, the Heart Revival has been a place of exploring who I am in the world and inside myself. Meg's guidance has allowed me to give myself a break and realize that I do not have to be all things at all times for everyone. Life has it's ups and downs, and it is wonderful to know that there is a space of warmth and compassion that Meg has created over these past few years to explore more deeply my relationship to all things. A sense of community and belonging are what you will find in this space. I'm so proud of Meg and her fellow teachers; what an exciting place to just 'be'.

If you're here reading this review, whatever led you here, it's for a reason. One's path doesn't cross with Meg's by chance.
My experience with The Heart Revival started in 2018 on Meg's retreats and in the Awakened Heart Sangha, the community meditation circle she leads. At the time I had pretty intense anxiety, and my therapist encouraged me to practice mindfulness meditation as a way to find healing. It seemed to be working, so decided to delve a little deeper and see what a whole weekend of practicing meditation and yoga would be like. I signed up for a retreat even though I was a super-beginner, and I was feeling seriously insecure about that.
Retreats are pretty dang amazing! They're designed for everyone to feel comfortable at any level of experience with yoga and meditation. What makes them truly special, though, is Meg's gift for creating and holding safe and supportive space for people to be vulnerable, feel loved, get curious, and share honestly with one another. Her teaching style is humorously relatable, conversational, and welcoming, but just as much of what I've learned has been from fellow community members, encouraged to share their stories under Meg's guidance. Her leadership is so refreshing because she's subtly wise but she's also in touch, in reach, and totally human.
Living in this world can be exhausting, but I love this community, where everyone belongs and it's safe to be real. I get to be in the presence of so many beautifully flawed human beings who genuinely show interest in one another. Every time I show up, I learn something! I don't think it matters what you're looking for; if you were led to The Heart Revival, there's something here for you.

I’ve been lucky enough to have a chance to practice in this space...and I absolutely adore it. Natural sunlight peaks through and the quaint home of The Heart Revival has such lovely energy surrounding it. It sits across from the lake and right next to the woods....a true getaway within the city.

I started my yoga and meditation journey years ago, but it wasn’t until I met Meg that I felt really connected through community. I took her yoga classes, continuing to feel a sense of acceptance and belonging, and then she started The Heart Revival. I have been on two of The Heart Revival’s retreats in the last year, and they have truly impacted my life in a permanent way. Meg brings those of us together who are longing for a place to belong, share, and feel accepted and seen. I’ve met the most incredible people, as well as having left each retreat with a newfound perspective and love for myself. I am truly grateful for having met Meg, and suggest anyone who is considering joining The Heart Revival community to take a class, attend a community meditation, or attend a retreat!

Let’s be honest, life gets hard. The Heart Revival and Meg herself, have held me with acceptance, guiding me to support myself, unconditionally. Practicing in Meg’s Yoga classes gives me a space to reconnect with myself and explore my body. And the best part, her beautiful singing and chanting during some of her classes. ❤️ I’m new to meditation last year, and the community that is The Heart Revival, brings support to my journey. Her meditation retreat “Befriending the ache” is a place that I got to meet incredible women who gathered together to explore, learn, connect and heal together. I can’t say enough how impactful The Heart Revival has been, and will be for our community and life itself! I highly recommend you experience it for yourself.

I am so excited for Meg to have her own center for yoga and meditation right in Milwaukee. I appreciate her traditional style of yoga and meditation along with her encouragement to be creative and curious about myself and my practice. Her retreats have been incredible experiences for me over the last year. She puts thought and effort into creating a comfortable space that has made it easy for me to explore and share deep parts of myself and to appreciate others on that level. I am forever grateful for her guidance and motivation to build my own sense of spirituality based on my experience. I am looking forward to connecting and growing with community in her new space!

The Heart Revival has brought me so much joy, love and clarity. The joy of playing or building a social mediation practice with new friends. The love of self that Meg promotes with grace. The clarity of mission to heal yourself to heal the world.
The restorative yoga helps my body recuperate from long runs, motherhood and daily stress of urban life.
The practice of mediation is difficult for me but Meg reminds me that there is not perfection just practice.
I am so thankful to have Meg and the Heart Revival in my life. It has changed my outlook and supported me through difficult times.

I was fortunate enough to go on a heart revival retreat I wish I was a life-changing event for me. Subtly the retreat and Meg’s guidance has helped me shift my perspective and has helped me develop a personal mindfulness practice. That practice continues to shape not only my outlook, but has given me the gift of space respond rather than react to situations. It also has helped me experience events in my life that previously I would have mindlessly blown past.

I’ve attended a Heart Revival retreat and have practiced yoga for quite a few years with Meg, the creator of this wonderful center. She is top notch. Her gift is beyond beautiful to guide us all to a better understanding of who we are and what our purpose in life may be. She brings warmth and dedication to her teachings. The world is a better place with her in it and St Francis is lucky to have her bring her gift to their community
