Tailored workouts ensure you achieve your specific goals, whether that is weight loss after pregnancy, or injury prevention. Heather is your personal Pilates guru who focuses not only on Pilates for beginners but also Pilates for those who are years into practice. Sessions are available by appointment only.

Had such a great experience hiring Heather for a private group session we did at our air bnb for a bachelorette weekend. Heather not only was a great instructor but also was so patient with us while we were struggling from the night before. She made it fun and made us laugh and it was just an overall very nice experience. Would definitely use her again anytime I’m in the area.

I have been wanting to start pilates for years but was intimidated by larger studios. I was concerned about form and possible injury, and not being able to keep up with the class. After being encouraged again by my doctor to try pilates, I found The Shed Studio. I have been struggling with chronic health issues for 3 years now. It affected my balance, my mobility, and my confidence. I reached out to Heather and took the first step. I scheduled a one on one new client session with her and was hooked. She met me where I was, and immediately made me feel comfortable and supported. Heather is extremely attentive, easy to communicate with, and clearly has a deep passion for what she does. One of my favorite things about the workouts is that they evolve with you, they meet you where you are and never get boring! Especially not with Heather! I am so grateful that I met her and started my pilates journey at The Shed Studio. It’s been life changing, mentally, physically and emotionally. My daughter and I have been doing Pilates reformer classes with Heather for a few months now and I cannot say enough good things about Heather and her style of teaching . She explains everything we are doing and what parts of body each movement is targeting . I love her sense of humor , as we were beginners and we needed some extra guidance! Also she is doing monthly outdoor mat pilates followed by a get together including food ! We just attended today’s event and it was awesome. The breakfast and fresh squeezed juice was a bonus! Thank you Heather !!!!

I have been taking private Pilates sessions from Heather for the past two months. Heather is an excellent instructor, her personalized sessions each week are perfectly matched to my skill level, and she tries one or two new exercises weekly as well. Her rates are reasonable for the 45 minute session and she never skimps a minute on her instruction. I love that Heather takes lessons herself to enhance her teaching.

I had never done Pilates before so I was a bit apprehensive. Heather at the shed studio was merciful while giving me an incredible workout. I especially liked the extra time she spent explaining the process, benefits and things I can do in my own time to get flexible and better. If there were a Nobel Peace Prize given for a thorough and well thought out process, Heather would be a plane to Stockholm today! Lastly, I should mention her studio was beautiful and super clean!!!

The Shed Pilates Reformer workout is the absolute best workout for me. It’s low impact, amazing stretching and Heather is the ultimate teacher. During the one-on-one focused sessions she makes sure you’re getting exactly the workout that you need, while guiding your synchronized breathing and transitions. Can’t recommend this pilates studio enough. Her class was my first for trying Pilates and Heather gave very good ques to help with each move and breathing. She also offered modifications for the holds/moves. Give Heathers classes a try, you will be happy that you did!
