My name is Garrett Ryan and I am an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist. I Graduated from UW-River Falls with a bachelor's degree in Human Health and Performance: Exercise Science. I offer in-person training, group training, and exercise programming. I also have an inbody scanner for body composition testing.
I will be conducting In-Person Training at River City Ironworx 264 Troy St. in River Falls. I am fully dedicated to helping you achieve your goals, answer any questions, provide constructive feedback, and help you make healthy behavior modifications!

I have been training with Garrett for a little over 6 months. It has changed my life. I had never done any strength training before and had never been consistent with any exercise routine. I had a lot of anxiety and I wasn't sure how my 50+ year old body would feel. Garrett listened. He has spent every session patiently teaching and demonstrating to me how to lift weights- effectively and safely. Each session is marked with education, kindness, encouragement, and challenge. His knowledge and experience and ability to tailor his training to each person's own needs, have helped me get stronger and have helped me build confidence so that I can go to the gym and feel comfortable and enjoy my workouts. His training has helped instill a habit and routine that I never want to quit. I am stronger and healthier because of his training. I am so thankful! I highly recommend Garrett.

Where do I even start. Garrett provided exactly what I was looking for in a trainer. Someone who understood my injury but also understood what I needed in a short bit of time. Garrett was patient and I felt he was just as dedicated as me to achieve the end goal. I needed someone who could push me and that’s exactly what he did, he pushed me to a point I didn’t know I had in me. After every session, I felt more and more confident.
If you are ever thinking of signing up with a trainer I 💯 recommend you give Garrett a shot. I can guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!

Garrett was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. He helped me work through some pain and injuries and didn't brush them off like my doctors have in the past. He taught me how to strengthen my body to prevent future problems and helped me gain the confidence I needed to walk into a gym by myself. Garrett is an excellent trainer. Very knowledgeable of the body which I feel is really important for proper training and ensuring your body is in proper positions to gain most out of a workout. Garrett is also fantastic at Breakdance, ask him to show you some power moves...your jaw will drop in aww.

Garrett is AWESOME! He is very knowledgeable when it comes to how your body works and works with you on any limitations you may have. He is great with kids as well. My 12 & 16 year old work out with Garrett as well. We’ve made it a family affair!
We work out in Hudson and we love the small initiate atmosphere. It is usually just us, but if there are other people, it’s just one other trainer and their client. It certainly takes the intimidation out of weight training around a lot of people if you are new to it.
If you’re looking for someone who can whip you into shape, Garrett is your man!
