Ryan is truly knowledgeable and professional. It has been very productive working with him. While my main goal had been to increase strength and learn how to do so correctly, the additional advice for proper nutrition and stretching has also prompted positive results. Ryan is very focused on his individual clients fitness goals and diet. He built me a comprehensive plan for the last 6 weeks (re-upped for the next 6) that includes meal prep, at home workouts, in gym workouts and stretching/hydration daily reminders. I've had a couple of minor ailments along the way and Ryan was acutely focused on ensuring we altered workouts to allow for proper healing. He wouldn't let me push it beyond my limits. I trust his plan and we are working the plan. I've seen both physique and strength gains in a short period of time.

I just recently finished my first 6-week session with Ryan and I’m now on my second. I was always hesitant about getting a trainer because what if I didn’t get the results I wanted and I was scared about working out in front of someone. I can say I have had amazing results after the first 6 weeks which prompted me to do another 6 weeks. I also feel very safe and comfortable whenever I work out. Ryan never judges you, but makes sure that you are safe while getting the results you want. He listens to your goals/concerns and tailors your program to that. If something comes up in your schedule that interferes with a session, he is very understanding and willing to accommodate you. He continues to motivate me throughout sessions and he is also very easy to talk to. I would highly recommend him. The only regret I have is not finding him sooner.

I was once told that if what I was doing wasn’t working then it might be time to listen to others.

I’ve dealt with weight fluctuations my entire life. Over the past few years I found myself gaining quite a bit of weight. When my weight started holding me back from doing certain activities or feeling comfortable in certain situations I knew I had to get help but I had no idea where to start. So I reached out to Ryan.

Best decision I’ve made in a while.

I’ve been working with him for about 6 weeks and already have seen results not only with weight loss from following his guidance with my nutrition, but also in an increase in strength from the work outs he has me do. His approach and personality makes it extremely easy to feel comfortable in what was, for me, an intimidating scenario.

I still have work to do but look forward to completing this journey working with him.

Update: I’ve been working with Ryan for about 6 months and I am thrilled to say that I am down 75 pounds and could wrestle a bear (I may be exaggerating in the bear part). It’s been work to get to this point but the results make it all worthwhile and I appreciate all he’s done to get me to this point.

Started my weight loss journey this year and was able to lose 20 lbs (190-170) on my own through diet but couldn't get under 170. Figured I'd need to start adding exercise to reach my goal weight and that when I started looking into getting a personal trainer. My main goals were, 1. Form a routine 2. Dial in my nutrition and 3. Make sure that I was doing exercises with proper form. Ryan was able to help me achieve all of them with 2 sessions a week for 6 weeks. With his help over the last 6 weeks I've lost 8 lbs and am ready to start working out on my own. If for some reason I find myself not progressing again though I would 100% come back and work with him!

I’ve really enjoyed working with Ryan! I always look forward to workout days even though I know I’m going to be totally exhausted afterwards. I sometimes need to be pushed to work past my comfort zone, and I am now starting to see the results. Each week, I am able to bench or squat a little more, or do a few more lunges or get through an entire set of crunches, and it feels good to know I’m getting stronger. He also gave us no-nonsense meal and workout plans so we can take ownership of our progress outside of the gym. It helps to have the structure at home and not have to think about things too much. You just follow the plan.

Ryan is motivating and encouraging. He kicks your butt when he has to (and even more if you’re from Chicago and still a Bears fan), but he also knows when to give you a break without letting you give up. He acknowledges that the process of getting into shape has moments that suck but reminds us that the rewards greatly outweigh the pain. That helps me keep going!

Ryan is a standup guy. Very personable and easily relatable. He will hold you accountable and make sure your motivation remains high. Ryan sets you up for success in achieving your desired goal and does everything possible to make that your future reality.

The workouts are tailored to you specifically which is a major plus. He provides everything you need from exercise plans, stretches, diet plans/meal plans. The app is super convenient for log meals and keeping track of calories. I was never one who paid attention to what I was eating or calorie counting.

Since joining the program I have made it a point to eat healthier, a lot more home cooking, counting calories, and the method has proven to hold true and deliver results. Only a few weeks in and down ten pounds!

Not only are things starting to fall into place physically on the outside, but I feel a lot better mentally from a combination of the clean eating and weight loss.

If you are looking to achieve weight loss or simply getting back in shape and find yourself lacking motivation to execute and achieving your goal, I highly recommend contacting Ryan and getting scheduled!

I think this is best place to get a personal trainer. The trainer, Ryan , is knowledgeable, dedicated and I was really like talking to him when we were training, for some reasons he seems little off in messaging though. I literally saw difference in my body after only 6 sessions. His rates also lower than most. I dont think you will regret going with him. Highly recommend this place.

I came to Ryan with a terrible back and hip issue. He was confident he could get me back to normal without having to be on pain meds. I gave it a shot and went to him vs. Going to physical therapy. Ryan knew what he was doing! I went from not being able to sit without wincing in pain to going back to kick boxing and working out regularly. A regular PT might not have pushed me to get back into the swing of things as fast as going here did. He checks in daily to see that you are on track. He listens to your concerns. Great experience! I would highly recommend.

I did 6 weeks with Ryan and I lost a decent amount of weight. More than that though he also helped me with form and better habits. I was having knee issues and he tailored workouts around that and helped with things to ease pain. He is also super accommodating in the scheduling aspect which is rare to find. I would definitely recommend WPF for anyone looking to work out wether it be beginner just wanting to learn form or someone stuck with their weight loss and needs an extra umph. Word of mouth is what led me here, as I had noticed the results a friend achieved working out at WPF, and wanted the same for myself.

The atmosphere isn't as overwhelming as working out in a big gym surrounded by people, which can be intimidating, especially if you’re new to this process.

The equipment is very clean and Ryan, the owner of WPF, personalizes your workout to your needs and goals. He is friendly yet motivating and very knowledgeable about health, nutrition and fitness. He is accessible on off-work-out days if needed with a quick text and is flexible if you need a day off (like when we were on vacation).

Great result and great company! I had a hard time finding the motivation to lose the weight I gained after college and started looking around for a personal trainer to kick me into gear. I was lucky enough (and smart enough) to find Ryan. We started right before COVID hit and got about one session in. I had some personal issues pop up and COVID hindered me so I decided to press pause on the training. Lucky for me, Ryan let me hit the pause button for however long I needed. A whole year later (almost to the day), I came back ready to lose the weight I gained (and then some) and it was like I never left! He ran through the same drill as the first day as a refresher but I was able to save all the money I invested in him and start up a whole year later. Most would take your money and say too bad but Ryan understands that fitness and a healthy lifestyle is way more important than taking your money. He is in it with you to the end and has an adorable dog that chills with you while you train! I highly recommend this program for anyone who is wanted a change, a challenge, or kick in the butt to spark your own personal motivation. Ryan is honestly the best trainer I could have asked for. He blew my expectations away. If I'm ever in the area again I will only be going back to him.

Obesity is something everyone in my family has. Both my parents were at one point over 300+ lbs. I've been obese my entire life. I've tried diet fads and all that but I could never stick with anything. Because of this I grew very insecure and the more I thought about going to the gym the more terrified I got thinking I would be made fun of etc.

One of my biggest insecurities was training in front of someone who's attention was focused just on me. However, Ryan made me feel completely comfortable! He encouraged and pushed me to my limits all the time but never in a way that made me feel bad about my limitations. If there was anything that limited me that day he was always quick to adjust and work with me.

I went from working out with him 3 days a week to 5. Even though Ryan is busy he fit me in and was super supportive of what I wanted to do. I started January 15th at 235.5 lbs and my last session with him was March 21st, and I weighed in at 210.5 lbs. I had to leave due to re-locating for my work or I would still be with Ryan.

If you're unsure, insecure, or just looking for someone awesome to vibe with and workout, Ryan is your man. The first step is always the hardest but I promise you won't regret picking up the phone and calling him! I will forever be thankful for what he's helped me accomplish! :)

Ryan is a great trainer! My Fiancé and I both go to him and have had great results in loosing weight and gaining mussel. Ryan has taught us lots of variations of workouts and guides us on the foods we should be eating. He holds us accountable every day and has helped us work through different challenges whether it is muscle soreness or water weight issues. We started this 6 week program to see how it would go however we have terminated all of our gym memberships and now are planning on doing this indefinitely. Ryan is saving my life, literally. Before I came to him, my knee pain from osteoarthritis was very severe. I was unhealthy, and unhappy. In 10 weeks, I have lost weight, gained strength, gained confidence and am loving life for the first time in a very long time. Hiring a personal trainer is an investment in yourself. When I first talked to Ryan, I told him I wasn't looking to be "buff" but that I wanted to be healthy so I could continue to do the things I love to do - mainly cycling, hiking and getting out of bed without feeling like I'm 100 years old. After attempting other workout programs and having a horrible experience at Xperience Fitness, I had to find something that worked. It started when I finally found motivation to get my health in order and signed up at Xperience for a personal trainer. The trainer cancelled on me twice (via text) and the second time he never reached back to see me. I tried to cancel my membership and it took over a month to get my money back.

This brought me to a desperate google search of a new personal trainer. Thank goodness I came across Ryan at WPF as he really is passionate about what he does and helping people change their lives. I am a strength client, not a weight-loss client, meaning my goal is to get stronger but stay at my current weight. Ryan is a great strength coach. I have been training with him since October of 2018 and have seen, for example, my bench press weight nearly double. It would have by now if I had not broken a rib (on my own--NOT related to training) and lost 6 weeks of gym time. I've been working with Ryan for the past two months. I've lost 25 lbs and feel great! I have more energy, less pain, more flexibility and strength. I'm fitting into clothes that I haven't worn for years. In the past 4 years I have had a hip replacement and other health issues that had me feeling run down.
