I think the place is slight worn down but not too bad at all for what it is. Love the fact that they have a big large room allows some cross-fit style training. The free weight area is a little small in my opinion. I do like the pool and hot tub.

I gave my info online because I was interested in joining, and felt that the salesperson that reached out to me was very pushy. I received two phone calls, a text, and three emails within seconds of sending my info, and they didnβt ask anything about my goals, desire to join, etc., but rather dove right in to setting up an appointment.

Went back to Xperience to get a membership only because of the little time I have between work and school, told the guy exactly what I wanted and had ZERO interest in anything else and GUESS WHAT! He tried to sell me on EVERYTHING I said NO to! He tried to test my intelligence! I do my research and I have a nutritionist in my family. Just got a call for personal training, something I told him NO to specifically. STOP BEING PUSHY! NO MEANS NO!! I am tired of being belittled and pushed into things that I don't want or need.

I went here planning on getting the $10 membership as I am a graduating high schooler just trying to workout and that is all I can afford. The salesperson I was working with was extremely rude and pushy and made me super uncomfortable. He would not even allow my friend and I to consider the cheapest membership. When we explained to him that we can not afford the more expensive memberships, he proceeded to say βyou wonβt get the results you want then, will you?β I then told him that I can only get a membership if I come the next day with my mom. To that he said, βthat wonβt workβ. He then proceeded to make more rude comments throughout the appointment. Overall, I had a terrible experience and will not be returning.

The sales team is very pushy. I'm a high school student trying to keep myself in shape, and just want to go here to workout on my own time. Jason was extremely pushy about getting the most expensive membership, when I told him I wanted the cheapest one as I don't need all of the extra services. He handed me a $60 band that I don't need. He didn't talk about the cheapest membership, and when I asked about it he said I wouldn't get the results that I was looking for. It was an uncomfortable position as I was just looking to get the cheapest membership. I will not be returning.

The gym itself it nice and very well kept, but the sales team is extremely pushy and unprofessional. During the tour Jason expressed that since Iβm a girl I must really favor the the leg area, which made me extremely uncomfortable. At the very beginning I was shown tanning and handed this $60 fit band that that would help me keep track during my classes that I didnβt want to pay for. I was just trying to get the core membership which he didnβt even mention until I told I didnβt want anything extra - Iβm just here to workout on my own. Finally after an hour and 20 minute βappointmentβ I got out of there with the membership I intended on getting and Iβm enjoying the gym. But telling members that not paying for classes wonβt get you the results your looking for is the wrong way to sell people things, especially to someone who is a former bikini competitor who told you has been lifting for 4 years.

I like the Q classes and the aqua classes. I'm a visual person, so I really like wearing the belt. Unfortunately, the belt doesn't work in the pool. Some of the workers are really pushy about setting a person up for a personal trainer. It gets very annoying. When I'm ready I will choose a trainer in my own time. They have a lot of equipment for everyone to use which is great.

I don't go here, never been here, don't know anyone here, and have never had an interest in going here yet here they are blowing my phone up with calls and texts to "Come see what we have to offer!" Special this month blah blah.... I DON'T CARE. When I call to tell you to remove me from your calling list that means take it out permanently. My gym is way better than yours any day and why would drive to another city to go to a subpar gym when there is the same subpar gym right around the corner from my house! I don't recommend this place at all based on the amount of spam calling - I can't imagine how bad it is if you're actually a member!

They will invite you into their club with open arms but the second you want to cancel they canβt help. Their reason being that it was to βprotect your financials.β But they donβt have a problem taking you financial information there when you sign up... What a joke! And they will refuse to assist you any further with your cancellation process. If you try to insist they help you in the cancellation process they wonβt. They wonβt call. They wonβt do anything. Instead they hand you a piece of paper with a number and email. You call the number and you donβt get a live person but rather an automated system that doesnβt even give an option to cancel. After trying several extensions on the automated system I finally got one that didnβt send me directly to a voice mail and the automated system again does not give cancellation as an option. You literally have to say βcancelβ (again this is not an option it will give you to say) to override the system and then it gives you a phone number and an email that do not match the phone number and the email that they give you to contact regarding a cancellation at their location. So then you have to call another number, speak to a rep there at abc financial, and then you either have to create a login with them and fill out an online form or send them an email to cancel. And then you are advised that they will stick you for yet another month after you successfully complete a cancellation with Xperience fitness. One more thing, when you sign up, they offer you an exclusive one day with a personal trainer. The only thing is that this one free day with a personal trainer is nothing more than them sitting you down in an attempt to sell you crazy expensive fitness packages with costs starting out around the $400 mark which by the way gets you very little in training support and ranges all the way up to somewhere around the $800-$1000 mark. And thatβs for 1 month!!! They donβt give much guidance. You are left to either pay hundreds a month for help or figure it out yourself. I wouldnβt refer my worst enemy to this gym. If I could give negative stars I would. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

Joining Xperience fitness is the best decision Iβve ever made. The counter staff always greets me by name, which makes me feel important. The gym is clean, the locker rooms are big and the trainers are always friendly and ready to help. Compared to other gyms I feel the price is very reasonable.
My personal trainer, LJ motivates me and keeps me wanting to work hard. I started with a personal trainer after having a total hip replacement. I was hoping to strengthen my hip. I have accomplished that and so much more. I have gained core strength, upper body muscle and self confidence. LJ always takes my physical abilities into account when planning my workouts, which I really appreciate. If I question why Iβm doing a certain exercise or what muscle the exercise is working, he always has the answer. He takes time to explain and show me how I will benefit from the it. LJ makes sure that each exercise is performed correctly so there is no chance of injury and to also insure that Iβm getting the most out of the move. He challenges me, and doesnβt believe in the words β I wonβt be able to do thatβ. I look forward to my workouts and I know itβs because of LJ. Joining Xperience fitness was the best decision Iβve ever made, and getting a personal trainer, like LJ, is the best investment Iβve ever made. Thank you LJ!

I feel so welcome by all the staff there! If there's anything I can't figure out, someone is always glad to help me. HUGE variety of machines and equipment for the widest variety of workouts I've ever seen, and a theater room to watch a movie on the big screen while spinning or getting your elliptical strides in. Hot tub, sauna, salt water pool, tanning, all kinds of classes, personal training sessions, and special high-intensity classes that burn calories for 2 days afterward. Nutrition help, high-protein snacks and drinks available to buy, and great big locker room areas with plenty of lockers.

They've really done a great job with their staff. I once had a 2 star review written for xperience fitness because of the poor customer service I recieved and the lack of communication on their part, resulting in me having my membership being wrongfully canceled. Soon after posting the review, I got a response telling me I could receive the membership I initially had (which is all I was asking for), and that that they were making something training changes for their staff. Since then, I emailed the cooperate office to confirm what I was understanding is what they meant, and then went to the Appleton location to get signed back up. The lady that helped me was very helpful and pleasant. I hadn't realized her shift had ended when I arrived, yet she still helped me and was very professional and pleasant. I was very appreciative that she didnt seem like she was annoyed by me being there when she was supposed to leave. I'm happy to be back at xperience fitness and glad to see that their staff is educated and enjoyable to speak with.

I was contacted by an employee to set up my meeting to view the club and begin my membership and was offered a sign on coupon at the time. The employee told me if I singed on at my appointment, I would only be charged a $1 fee and the other charges would be waived. My appointment was 2 days later; I toured the club and began to set up my membership. When the employee entered the sign on fees, I reminded her of the sign on coupon I was offered 2 days prior. She stated she wasnβt sure if it still applied and had a manager check on it. The manager stated he received an email stating that promotion had passed. I replied that I would think you would honor a promotion specifically offered when the meeting was set up. He decided to honor it....begrudgingly. He also snidely commented to the employee assisting me that she could honor it βthis time onlyβ but it would not apply to anyone else. He seemed extremely annoyed with my valid questioning. I honestly almost walked out the door then and there, but a $10/month membership for the few things I need is the best price around. However, Iβll be watching closely here on out for their treatment of members; if this is how you value and treat a potential member you are trying to sell membership to, how will you treat me in the future?

The Menasha Xperience Fitness is by far the best gym I've ever been to, with the best equipment for serious lifters. The equipment is suitable for all heights, and levels of fitness experience. There is equipment for whatever you can think of doing for the day, along with a hot tub, pool, sauna, classes, and daycare. I went in for the Black Friday promo and spoke to a lead sales person. The deal sounded great, but when I went back in two days later, I learned that he forgot to tell me about the $40/year maintenance fee. I wouldnβt have minded had I been told at the beginning, but felt there were hidden fees. Iβm also disappointed to learn there are no tv screens in the machines, and the womenβs weight room is no longer.

The Q coaches are great.
My only complaint is the cleanliness of the locker rooms and bathroom. They used to be spotless, not so much any more. They need much more attention.

It's a great gym with everything you need! The staff is very friendly and helpful. No matter what kind of day I had, I am instantly in my happy place coming here! The atmosphere is high energy and friendly; I've never felt it's a place of any type of judgement.
