Great gym, really convenient for me however, I think you guys should consider making space to add more equipments because going in around 5pm is so crowded and busy. I understand that’s the time when it’s supposed to be like that but it’s kinda overwhelming when you have to wait so long just to use something. Also, the men bathroom and locker room are not the cleanest I’ve seen. I think you need to really deep clean the bathroom floor and wall because how much buildup is on there.
Ps: Please play a better playlist other than country music and old jazz music, especially at night when younger people come in. That’d be really appreciated thank you :p

It used to be a good gym but now it’s extremely dirty. Mens Locker room is disgusting. The pat pull-down machine hasn’t been greased in like 3 years (Literally. No joke). They raised the price from $10/month to $25/month and didn’t change a thing about the gym… Got worse if anything.

I am thinking about keeping a personal locker and keeping my lock on it. I put my back pack inside one and I got BLASTED with dust. If I'm going to pay $40+ a month I should have a clean locker. Everyone should have a clean place to put their belongings. Everything else is alright, but I was seriously take back by this incident. With all the traffic coming in and out of this location I had figured the lockers would be wiped down clean. It is not much to ask. The men who are employed to clean the locker room should take more pride in their workspace cleanliness. I'm not impressed.

Xperience is super convenient and close to my home. The hours allow me to sneak a workout in just about any time of the day which I really appreciate. This is the best budget gym in Waukesha. If you are looking for a place to train but don't want to dish out more than $50 a month, this is the spot for you.

Currently, I pay $10 a month plus a 1-time annual fee. (in total less than $15 a month annually). Those are Planet Fitness Prices!

For that low price, the gym provides good equipment. They have 2 Rouge bars for anyone who cares enough to know and feel the difference. In addition to all the cardio and strength equipment you'd expect, The gym also provides bumper plates for Olympic lifts.

Like any budget gym, they have a diverse set of clients. But for the price, I am shocked by how many strong people train here. Over my 4-years at this gym, I regularly saw people bench over 225 for reps and squat well over 315 for reps at depth. I think the most I ever saw someone lift was a 545 squat. For a guy who will pull 405 on a good day, it is nice to know there are plenty of people there I can learn from.

My only knock is that the Waukesha location does not have as big of a space or as much equipment as some other Xperience Fitness locations (such as Brookfield) They also do not have deadlift platforms. However, staff and clients are friendly. And unlike Brookfield, this location does not have an issue with weight re-racking. If there are weights on the bar, someone is using it.

Very dingy. Dust everywhere. Scum on bathroom doors and all around the pool. There is only one sauna and it is overloaded by shirtless men. Go here if you want to be the only woman in a sauna with 9 shirtless men with cracks in the floor. DMV vibes when you walk in. Staff says there isn’t a budget for better amenities, but other locations of the same chain do better. Very strange how no one seems invested in elevating this space.

When I arrived I found a wallet in the locker I was using and turned it in to the front desk. When leaving I found that the lock had been cut off my locker and left inside, with no note or explanation, leaving all my things in an open locker. I complained at the front desk and was told the owner had come in looking for his wallet and apparently was given a bolt cutter to cut off the lock. First of all, why not check the lost and found first? Second, a year ago there was a problem at this gym where locks were being cut off and valuables stolen, so now anyone can come in and request a bolt cutter? Shouldn't the employees do this if needed?

Hidden fees, extremely difficult to cancel, trainers will tell you that certain things are free-like changing your core level-and then you'll find out it isn't. Practices reminiscent of Wells Fargo, but at a cheap and very sweaty gym. They stole 400 dollars straight out of my bank account.

This gym has amazing staff HOWEVER, they truly need to get someone in there who knows how to clean a bathroom. The womens locker room is so nasty! The bathroom stalls have stains of dripping water on the walls which appears to be splashes of water that comes out of the toilet. No one ever cleans them. The toilets are gross and the entire area smells of old cheap bathroom deodorizer. My husband and I got the membership for the sauna specifically and it has been broken down for weeks! No one knows when it will be repaired. Wishing they would go back to 24 hours as well.

I cannot tell you how happy I am here. It just feels like home. From the minute you walk in the door, staff is there to greet you and wish you a good workout. I am in the Q classes and also have a personal trainer (Paul). I guess you could say I have special needs because I have Parkinson's disease (and I'm 71 years old). The staff encouraged me to try the Q classes, since strenuous exercise is really a huge factor in delaying the progression of Parkinson's. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to keep up. I was wrong! The classes are a demanding, but just what I need, while the instructors encourage me to keep me going. Of course the heart rate monitor doesn't hurt when you're trying to push yourself!
The instructors are all top notch, format and variety of classes are awesome. You can't possible get bored! I feel so fortunate that I found my way here. Thank you everyone for getting me involved!!!

Xperience Fitness is an excellent gym to work out at. Frank is the fitness manager and was a great help in getting me signed up and finding out what I wanted to accomplish for myself. Then he assigned me to my personal trainer Mitch. He is absolutely AWESOME with me. We made a plan out together and everything is working out great! Everyone who works out here is respectful of machines and weights. They always wipe down machines. Personal is always cleaning down machines and vacuuming. They will always help you with anything you need. I LOVE THIS GYM AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE! COME JOIN US!

My experience with this club has been awesome. From the sign up, to meeting with Jack, and being assigned it to Paul to be my trainer. Everything was very pleasant. I didn't feel pressured. I have a workout plan that I think it was going to drop some weight which is really needed for a few years now. I believe the three of us are going to keep modifying the plan and we're going to work it until I lose the weight. These guys are the best.

I have been a member since 2019 and I normally don't write reviews. In this case I joined because they offered a stretching area up away from the main machines, weights, and pool area. They sold me on what they offered, but now they recently put up signs saying, starting Dec. 6th, unless your with a personal trainer or an Orange Card member (normally $128.99 on sale now for$59.99) you can no longer use the stretching area. They make no mention of an alternative site for stretching and floor exercise. I am unhappy as the communication is all one sided and provides no alternative accommodations for many that stretch and exercise in this area.
UPDATE- Xperience Fitness rearranged some equipment on the main floor and made a stretching area for all members. It is not up away from all the machines, but should work just fine.

The hours of operation of this gym are very unfriendly. Why is it always open a little shorter on friday than other days? This gym has a mentality of closing its doors while you have the most time which is totally counterproductive to anyones fitness goals.. Especially on weekends. Are there any plans of going to 24/7? I don't want to adjust my work hours just so i can get my work out done. Also the equipment could use some updating or maintenance. If those factors remains unchanged I recommend looking for different gym.

Jamie and Erin have been a great help with helping me make a decision on which gym to get a membership at. Very rundown gym, big bumps in the floor by the free weights been there forever. Attachments are worn out and old. The equipment there is barley functional. Eg. Cable machine. Very outdated equipment to much cardio.. This gym isn't worth the membership fees. Sad... Pathetic.. If I owned a gym chain I wouldn't let it get to this point.

Started my membership about 2 weeks ago. It's really nice so far. Clean, lots of stuff to try, and the pool area looks promising though I have yet to actually try it. It can be a bit crowded I noticed on Tuesday it was packed. I guess everyone is gearing up for taco Tuesday lol. I thought for the time I go, which is usually 6am to about 7:40am. It wouldn't be alot of people. For the most part I haven't had a problem getting on a machine I wanted to use. The only thing that still leaves me skeptical is the culture at this gym. My first impress of one of the personal trainers wasn't ideal. But I'd imagine they get people asking them questions all the time maybe it gets frustrating. I personal wasn't asking a question just trying to introduce my self.. Also I still have yet to actually schedule a personal training day. I will in the future.

I signed up so I could take yoga but after looking around I liked some of the equipment and will probably use the pool as well. The staff has been friendly and helpful. Betsy is a great yoga instructor, I have not taken classes from any other instructors but everyone at the facility seems very good. I would recommend the Waukesha Xperience Fitness facility.

As someone who is not familiar with a gym setting or a workout routine, I was initially intimidated by Xperience Fitness. However, what has won me over was talking and working with a personal trainer at this location. They helped introduce me to a routine to follow, working on making gradual progress, committing to the routine, and making it all manageable. I've been coming for a little over two weeks now and am far more comfortable navigating the machines, cardio, etc. and am glad that I went the route of personal training first.

Standard chain-gym experience (no pun intended). Get you in, kill you with fees, hard sell personal training packages. They don't really seem to care about the condition of the locker rooms. The "trainers" are too good to help out the staff with any kind of clean up. Some equipment is consistently broken and they make it as difficult as possible to cancel your membership.

In short...there's plenty of other gyms around. Support a small business that actually cares.

My name is Geno as I went into the gym today 11/30/2020 I was told to contact you directly before I may continue to work out at the Waukesha club. I was informed the reason I would need to contact you is because of conflict. And was not given any other reasons
During this short time I had three people approaching me as I was currently on the abdominal machine. Too males and one female one of the males is the person that has been harassing me on multiple different occasions. (But I will get into that more below) the female briefly explained to me that I would need to leave the Club on reasoning that I had conflict with one of the workers and I did my best to explain the situation to her as she would not let me explain myself. As I looked at the male worker that was harassing me previously trying to explain to her on that matter she rudely demanded me not to look at him, I was confused, I complied with her request. We then walked to the front desk where at this time she her self had her mask half way off and a second female with her mask completely off, at this point I was only trying to get your contact information so I could send you this email with little to no luck. So with that being said I would like to formally explain myself to you so you can have a better understanding of things. My name is Geno I’ve been a member of experience fitness for over five years. With that time I’ve always followed the rules cleaning machines, being kind, respectful ect. With that being said I’ve complied with all rules and regulations that are presented by the State, county, and also your club. I have a medical Condition that prevents me from being able to use any sort of facial coverings and I have signed the consent waiver that your company offers and when they gave out the orange stickers I put them on, and every time I was done using the machines I would clean them off.
Now on countless occasions I have had the same individual approach me and he has continued to harasses me with the fact that I am required to use facial coverings (I’d like to mention he was the person that I signed the waver form with) with this individual he has come up to me demanding that I put on facial coverings and I’ve explained to him that I can not and to please let me work out I’ve begged him to please stop coming up to me and harassing me on countless occasions he hasn’t stopped. No other employees have come up to me demonstrating the same as he does. When I come into the club I wait my turn if people are in the lobby I wait more then 6 feet away from them quickly scan in and go on my way with my daily workout routine. As a paying customer I do not feel that having employees that harass customers and make some sort of documentation in my account preventing me from working out is the right thing to do. I was informed to contact you with little to no information, I was simply given only paperwork on how to cancel my membership which I do not want to do. I simply would only like to become more healthy and work out in peace.
Being a paying customer for as long as I have I truly would expect more! Thank you for your time and consideration.

Have been going here for years, every time I’m back in Waukesha I always get a membership because the range of equipment and the price is hard to beat. However, recently I started coming back here during the pandemic because I believe that with masks, it’s ok to socially distance and workout and I believed the gym would adhere to government recommended protocols. I’ve been extremely disappointed with Xperience’s lack of enforcement on mask wearing and sanitation. Employees are rarely checking people and do not care if patrons wear masks. If you’re going to have a sign up saying masks are required, then you should be enforcing it.

More than half the members do not wear masks and the mask policy is not enforced. Twice in one week I saw someone getting a tour and not wearing a mask. I can see where the employees are reluctant to go up to members and ask them to wear a mask, but in a one-on-one tour situation, couldn't they at least be offered masks and asked to wear them?

I have been going to Xperience Fitness for around a year. The gym is always clean and the staff wasn't invasive. However, after COVID the gym has been decreasing in quality. Whenever I take my mask off to breathe I am approached and asked to put it back on. This doesn't bother me as it is expected in gyms right now. However, what does bother me is the fact that every time I have been asked to do this, there have been young women in same part of the gym who don't have masks on. This has occurred 4-5 times with the employee never even approaching young women to ask them to put masks on. The employees are acting blatantly sexist to get credit with the women who are working out. This is clearly unfair as I pay the same fee to workout and would like to not wear a mask at all. Don't go to this gym if you expect fair treatment because if you aren't wearing yoga pants they will force you to wear a mask.

They changed their operating hour so I canceled my membership at the gym. They told me going online to cancel which is I am struggling to do. I ask one of consultant to help me at that time. I thought everything set but I received a 2-month bill plus late fee. I called and talked on the phone with one of presentative which was not helpful either. Cancelation membership procedure at this gym is frustrating to do. I am not surprised after reading all 1-star reviews that always mention how complicated to cancel membership. It is not fair at all.

Signed up previously, canceled membership over a year ago. Getting constant phone calls from them, they never leave a message. Finally answer and was told I "signed up" on a form (I didn't). Asked to stop being called over and over, was told if I "would have answered earlier" they would have stopped calling. Unprofessional and accusatory. Great way to run a business. Don't deal or sign up with them unless you want to be harassed.

I love this gym and all the trainers here who help keep me fit.

People complaining about peak times being busy: it’s a gym. Peak times are peak times for a reason. There are plenty of times a day when the gym isn’t swarmed with people. I go during that time.

They have really improved on cleaning the machines and locker rooms. Only thing that could be cleaner is the showers which I’ve become accustomed to not wanting to use. Lol

Beware, the company gets you to signup for $10/month which is great. The moment you do a personal trainer class or their β€œQ” class, they will keep billing you after you stop the class. Even if you try and cancel the charges, the company gives you the run around making you jump hoops to try and get the charges removed. Ultimately, the only way to get the charges removed is to have your bank dispute the charges. This has happened to me twice now with two different programs they had, and a front desk employee told me that many other xperience customers complained to him about the charges from the β€œQ” class not going away after they were told there class was successfully canceled.

Out of all the Xperience Fitness gyms, this one is by far the best ever. Everyone on their staff do an amazing job of making sure the gym is up to par. You occasionally see management on the floor helping out. They have created a culture of excellence from customer service, to gym cleanliness, to all around being all stars. Best commercial gym I've been to. They have all the equipment necessary to get in great workouts and enough space to not feel crowded.

Now that it's January and the gym is more crowded there are so many people who just sit on the equipment using their phones while others are waiting. If you ask how much longer they will be 'using' the equipment you often get a funny look and a grunt. There is a cell phone policy which is not enforced. So frustrating...

The only reason I started to come to this gym was because Gold’s gym had shut down. I wish it hadn’t as I’ve had the opposite experience at this gym. When I first signed up the person who helped me select the tier of membership of course guided me toward the most expensive membership which is three times the price of the membership I actually need. When I decided to change to the least expensive membership I of course had to physically drive to the gym to sign my name about 7 times with little explanation of what it was I was signing. The entire time I was going through the contract signing the female who was helping me yawned somewhat loudly 2-3 times as if she was tired of clicking a button on the computer and would rather go back to doing nothing. The employees here from what I’ve experienced are more interested in talking with each other than simply greeting the members of the gym. It’s more of a social event than it is work for the employees here it seems. The equipment is generally good and kept pretty clean. The gym is usually quite busy which is a bit annoying as you will wait for a while to use any equipment. Overall I’m dissatisfied in this gym but since Gold’s closed there are few options around.

I have tried cancelling my membership 3 times now, and am still being charged. The first time was 4/30/2019, where my fiance and I went in together to cancel. We filled out our form, dated it, signed it and left. My fiance's membership was cancelled, mine was not. I went in AGAIN to cancel, and they told me that I had to do it online. I do not have an online account because my membership was deactivated, but still am being charged. Once this was explained and understood, they made me fill out another form. In December, I was still getting charged. I went back in again, filled out the form, and left. I called xperience fitness to ask them if it's been cancelled, they assured me yes. December 1 was my last payment. Today I look, I got charged for January. Not only did I have an unpleasant experience there as a member (for my job, the space was too crowded and not enough equipment for the times I was able to go), but the cancellation process is beyond absurd. I am LIVID with the money and time I have put into this facility without any support or help. I have not stepped foot in that place to work out in almost a year, they should owe ME money for this whole ordeal. Obviously this is a common problem, with people other than myself. Not sure who's to blame here, but this will be mentioned to anyone who asks me for a recommendation for gyms.

Very professional and friendly but I wish they could wave the process fee for me. You really think it’s 9.99 a month but once you go in. There is process fee , first month and last month fee paid in advance. Within 60 days of your sign up, there will be additional $44 for equipment maintenance.
They don’t tell you this over the phone. So you are welcome ;)

In general the staff is nice and the facilities are fine, although the cleanliness of the locker room has been slipping recently. I don't think the lockers are ever cleaned out since I have seen the same bus transfer stub in one of the lockers for the last 8 months. My biggest gripe is the number of patrons who sit on the weight machines and spend more time looking at their phones than working out. At the very least, get off the machine and let those who are actually there to work out use it. There is a sign which states that cell phone use in the weight area is not allowed, but this must be there to protect the owner if someone gets hurt.
