Lots of kettlebells, not many free weights. Good atmosphere

As a fitness gym, Elemental gets 5 stars but only 2 or 3 for the climbing portion.
The bouldering room is often reserved for the youth team only during after-work hours in the winter, which is fine as more local kids should be a part of the climbing community. But when that happens, people that want to climb are relegated to the Grasshopper system board, which is the least enjoyable board on the market, imo, and/or the campus board. The holds on the board have long lost their texture and are slick as snot. Elemental is kind of overdue for a board change, (Tension board 2!!). Also, classes occur frequently during the day in the room with the board and people can't climb on the board during the classes. It is somewhat demotivating and frustrating to be shuttled around so frequently. And a few days a week in the winter there is an overlap between the youth group and classes so climbers are forced to wait around for 15-20 minutes until an area opens up, which is quite frustrating as it feels like a waste of time.
Also, the gym is 24/7 but climbing is only available during staffed hours, which are very limited during summer weekends. 10-4 saturday and closed on sunday. So if the weather is bad or if you don't have time to get out you're often out of luck.

Wow, what an innovative concept! A bouldering gym that bans powdered chalk because apparently, the delicate ecosystem of indoor climbing can't handle it. Who needs a solid grip anyway? Thanks, Elemental, for the unparalleled experience of feeling like a gecko on a greased pole for those 3 years. JK—thanks for bringing back powdered chalk! Love ya ♥️

No $5 showers anymore available, even though their guidebook says so and reviews on Google from last year still used that. Since the new guide version came out, this is not honored anymore, now they charge $12 for a full day pass just to shower. Not an awesome looking shower for that price. Better don’t swing by here late in the day but go straight to the Lander swimming pool, we went to Elemental and missed therefore the cheap and clean pool opening hours.

Did a drop in with my daughter while on vacation. We were very impressed with the amount and variety of quality equipment, we could not believe all the different cardio machines they had! The gym was neat, clean and spacious, and the staff was welcoming and friendly. If you are in the area I would highly recommend a visit to Elemental!

We went to us their $5 shower, which was lovely. The water was hot, the water pressure was high, towels were included and there was no time limit on the shower. It was clean and they ask that you use the provided shower spray after you shower. I’m giving it a 4/5 because the shower stall and changing area was tiny, I couldn’t shave my legs because the stall was so tight. Other than that shower was great and I would recommend this place for showers.
I didn’t use the workout facility but it looked clean and nice and the AC was working wonderfully.

Great, clean gym for a small town. Nice staff and affordable memberships and classes. This gym is mostly free weights and could use a few more equipment options.

I mean, yeah, it's a good gym any way you slice it. But it's the staff that makes it the BEST GYM IN THE WORLD...
