I attended Rising Star from the age of 7 until I graduated high school. My mother also attended Rising Star as a child when Dorothy first opened. I’m so happy to be sharing the family tradition with my own children who have been attending classes at the studio since they could walk.

Rising Star is by far the best dance studio in Casper. They take pride in what they do and love their students whole heartedly. In the 20+ years I’ve been in that studio I have always been greeted with a smile and warm welcome.

I love this dance studio! My daughter has been attending both dance classes and tumbling for almost 2 years now. Not only does she have fun, but also has shown great progress in both classes. Plus, has learned social skills and more that she has taken with her to pre-k. She absolutely adores going there and is always excited when we pull into the mall parking lot. Love the camps and events they host as well! Dodie is so welcoming and very helpful, as is the entire staff. My daughter has been in the studio a few months now and so far it's been great. She's been dancing for 5 years out of state and the transition to the new studio was a breeze. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The classes she was put in after her initial assessment weren't challenging enough for her. When we mentioned this to the staff they were able to quickly switch her over to the right level with no issue. My daughter loves the studio. We have no complaints. Great studio, plus it's awesome that we can watch our daughters class from home on their app.

Their studio is newly updated, clean, and organized. It is nice that you can watch you child dance on TVs in the lobby, but this place has more hidden fees and associated costs than most banks. They will tack on any fees that they can think of just to get an extra dollar out of you whether it is applicable or not. Also, in the dressing room, there is no one monitoring them. Often the lights get flickered, children pound on the doors, and scream while you are trying to change. They try for ballet and tumbling but for the other types of dance, they often use teachers with little to no experience in that type of dance and little to no experience in teaching. Truly a waste of money. I was convinced to simply pay for the month instead of completing the trial, and have huge regrets while trying to withdraw from the program.

All 3 of my children have been students at Rising Star and each have loved it tremendously! My oldest-John Lee was in tumbling starting as an infant until 3 years old. He is currently 5 and a kindergartner! My 3 year old daughter, Taylor started as an infant as well and still is in tumbling currently. SHES OBSESSED AND LOVES IT. She also started the Fine Arts Program this year and is IN LOVE. She calls it “school” and looks forward to it every week. We even have decided to do an extra drop in class every so often so she’s able to go more! It’s awesome that’s an option. My youngest-Emmie is 1 yr old and just started tumbling this year. She had a ball and I’m sure she’ll continue to enjoy it. My kids have learned so many things as students at Rising Star. Discipline, following directions, interacting with other kids, patience, respect…and more! I have always been happy and impressed with the teachers and studio as a whole. WE LOVE IT!

I have 3 girls who have all attended multiple dance and tumbling classes at Rising Star and it has been the most beneficial experience for them! My kids have grown as dancers and athletes but also just as young women. There is an emphasis on building a strong work ethic and taking pride in your own work. I havent had personal experience with the actual Dance Studio, but I learned alot from talkong to Miss Dodie:) She was very friendly, informative and made me really excited to have my son join them:) My 6yo son wants to do tumbling so I was looking into that.
