I have been a gym member for two months now, and I've really been enjoying it. Selena is a great encourager, and I love how she pays attention to your form. She’ll even modify the workout for you if needed. Selena is also like your very own gym concierge—she makes sure you have everything you need for a successful workout.

If you're willing to put in the work you most definitely will get the results you're looking for. When I first started visiting the gym I weight approximately 270 pounds at 5'11...but after about a year's worth of dedication and sticking to the meal plan created by Selena(the personal trainer who oversee the gym)...I am now within 10 pounds of my ideal weight of 218 pounds. This is most definitely a place for those individuals looking for a positive environment and a well run workout regiment. Give it a try...you won't regret it.

The owner is awesome and has such a great personality! She is very attentive to everyone even in a group setting. She will push you and walk over to you help with your form. The gym members are also great and supportive, the gym is filled with amazing energy!

Looking for a serious yet fun workout program, I strongly recommend For the Health of It Fitness Center. I’ve had trainers in the past but none that truly cared about my overall well-being. Selena is a caring trainer that is motivated by helping her clients meet their health goals. She celebrates your milestones, and provides you with encouragement when you want to give up. If you are looking for a group setting, where EVERYONE is supportive, you have to try For the Health of Fitness.

My first day at For The Health of It was October 28, 2019 and I have been coming back ever since. It was the best decision that I made for both my mental and physical health. Selena is an amazing trainer who truly cares about your fitness goals. My strength and muscle tone has drastically improved from where I started and I have met some great people along the way. We have members spanning all ages and fitness levels, and Selena customizes the workout to be inclusive of everyone.

Last April my 12 year old son came to me saying he wanted to lose weight and get healthy, so I decided to go on the journey with him, and I found For The Health Of It in a Facebook group, and we haven’t looked back since!! We’re both not where we want to be, but we’re getting there!! I have been going to For The Health of It since last summer. I truly feel Selena was God sent because it was at a time where I didn’t feel good about myself. I gained 20+ lbs, the biggest I had been in a long time. I found the group fitness on a Facebook page, actually, she was recommended. I went for a one day trial and I have not stopped going. I love the challenging workouts as well as the motivation! Selena is kind and caring and I have made great strides in the class. I continue to work on me as I am not where I was and working hard to get where I want to be! I truly look forward to each class and I would definitely recommend For The Health of It to everyone!
